Vous n'ignorez sans doute pas la publication du Rapport de M. Régis DEBRAY au ministre de l'Education nationale, sous le titre :
" L'enseignement du fait religieux dans l'Ecole laïque "
Ce rapport faisant l'objet d'une très large diffusion sur le plan national. Notre association ayant dans ses buts la défense des lois républicaines et laïques, notamment dans le domaine de l'enseignement public, nous souhaiterions connaître la position de votre Centrale syndicale sur ce rapport.
Lors des élections présidentielles nous avions attiré l'attention des différents candidats sur les difficultés croissantes qu il y a à faire respecter la laïcité dans bon nombre d établissements scolaires, et le climat peu propice à l 'étude que cette situation entraîne.
