La République en danger !
La France républicaine a écarté définitivement les religions de toute intervention dans les affaires de l’Etat en promulguant le 9 décembre 1905 la loi définissant le principe de laïcité de l’Etat inscrit désormais dans la Constitution.
Il a fallu la dictature de maréchal Pétain en juillet 1940 et sa collaboration avec l’Allemagne nazi, pour redonner du pouvoir à l’Eglise en fermant les Ecoles Normales d’Instituteurs et lui offrant ainsi la main mise sur l’enseignement.
Aujourd’hui la situation est à nouveau très grave.
En accueillant le pape comme un chef d’Etat, alors qu’il est seulement le pasteur de l’Eglise catholique, Nicolas Sarkozy enfreint à nouveau la loi de la République ; comme il l’avait fait en se rendant lui-même à Rome où il tint des propos inacceptables sur le principe de la loi de 1905 et se fit nommer chanoine.
En renouant ainsi des relations avec l’Eglise, le président de la République a failli à sa fonction qui est précisément de veiller au respect de la Constitution.
Il appartient donc à tous les républicains, et en premier lieu aux élus, d’en tirer toutes les conséquences au plus tôt.
